SALT LAKE CITY -
A small earthquake has shaken part of the Salt Lake Valley. No injuries or damages have been reported. The U.S. Geological Survey says the earthquake struck at 2:02 a.m. Wednesday, and it was centered four miles north-norheast of Magna. According to the University of Utah Seismograph Stations, there were reports that the tremor was felt in Magna and other cities within 10 miles of the earthquake's epicenter.
The University of Utah says numerous small earthquakes have hit the area of the Salt Lake Valley where Wednesday's tremor was reported. The last reported shock that was felt in the area happened in November 2006 and had a magnitude of 2.6.
