Two Families Agree to Live in Poverty
Two families decide to live at or below the poverty line to better understand budgeting at bare minimum. The two families are willing to spend only about $10,800 a year to see how well they can maintain themselves. The funds break down to $6.72 a day for food and travel expenses. The couple, Jessie and Shawn, are doing this simply as a way to budget. So grasping what mental duress it would impose on a couple who are truly is in the situation is another matter. FOX 13's Nicole Hunter has the story.
