SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -
Utah officials are warning of bad air quality in some parts of the state. The Utah Department of Environmental Quality issued a "red" air advisory for Salt Lake and Davis counties for Sunday and Monday. That means wood burning is prohibited in those two counties. Drivers are also urged to use their vehicles less often.
People with heart or lung problems -- as well as older adults and children -- should also limit exertion outdoors.
Cache, Weber and Utah counties are under a "yellow" alert, meaning residents are asked voluntarily not to burn wood and drivers are urged to use public transit.
