FARMINGTON - A Syracuse woman convicted of having sex with three teenage boys has been sentenced to a year in the Davis County Jail. Kimberlee Williams Arigot, 41, tearfully apologized in court just before the sentence was handed down on Wednesday. "I'm so sorry for what happened," she said. "I take full responsibility for my choices and actions. I do not blame anyone else. I hope one day there will be forgiveness from all those involved."

Arigot was arrested last year after nude pictures were circulated on cell phones amongst teenage boys. When Syracuse police hauled Arigot in for questioning, she offered up a startling confession -- to sexual acts involving minors.

"It was somewhat surprising when we found out more information," Sgt. Heath Rogers told Fox 13 News.

Arigot struck a plea deal, admitting to charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of unlawful sex with a 16-or-17-year-old and dealing in materials harmful to a minor, all third-degree felonies. Her lawyer asked for leniency at sentencing, seeking home confinement or a 90-day jail sentence. Arigot's lawyer, Ryan Bushell, noted that a pre-sentence report found she is not a sexual predator.

"The shame and humiliation isn't going to end with this sentence," he said.

Prosecutors sought jail time, claiming that Arigot hadn't really taken responsibility. They pointed to a report prepared by Adult Probation and Parole that described her as "arrogant" and "narcissistic," claiming she had downplayed her role in what happened. Bushell pointed out that the alleged victims in the case had contacted Arigot in several instances.

"She sent pics to six different high school boys," deputy Davis County Attorney Richard Larsen said. "What she did cannot be passed off as a simple mistake."

Second District Court Judge David Connors noted that Arigot is the latest in a long string of sexual misconduct cases in Davis County involving adults and teens. A few minutes after Arigot's sentencing, 34-year-old Tabitha Ash appeared in court for a pre-trial conference. Ash was arrested by Clearfield police, accused of having sex with a 14-year-old boy.

Addressing questions about a double standard for older women and teenage boys, Connors said he had done some research on similar cases and found a 90-day jail sentence handed down in Farmington's courthouse for a man and a 16-year-old girl. He handed down the one-year jail sentence for Arigot, giving her work release after spending 90 days in jail.

"Speaking with the victims, they're pleased," Larsen said. "This is the outcome they were hoping for."

Arigot left the courthouse covering her face with a coat. Family members, who packed the courthouse to show her support, jostled with TV news photographers in the hallway. The judge allowed her to spend Thanksgiving with her family before surrendering on Monday at the Davis County Jail.
