SALT LAKE CITY—
David Bell says the scars on his body tell the story of what he says was a brutal attack on him in summer, 2008. He says he went next door to meet his neighbors and share a drink. Bell said everything was fine, until he offered two of the neighbor kids a glass of Kool-Aid. Later the children's mother, Lulu Latu, discovered the children in Bell's doorway and Bell says she hit him. Later, Bell says, more family came over to beat Bell and his gay partner. The children's father, Leti Mageo, talked to FOX 13 saying that he thought any parent would feel the say way he felt if their kids were taken from home. The District Attorney says it is now considering assault charges in this case -- after Bell was acquitted of child kidnapping,FOX 13's Sandy Riesgraf has the story.
