SALT LAKE CITY -
For the first time in nearly 180 years, the LDS Church has an entire building dedicated to its archives. The newly completed Church History Library contains rare mormon artifacts, including a first edition copy of the Book of Mormon. "We have everything from wax cyclinders, wire recordings, reel to reel tapes, cassette tapes," said Richard Turley of the LDS Church History Department. Reporters were given a tour inside the new facility Thursday.
