UTAH COUNTY - Utah County Sheriffs says there is no shortage of criminal activity in and around the hot springs in Diamond Fork Canyon in Utah County. Others insist it is a peaceful environment to enjoy the great outdoors. Last October, eight men and women were cited for lewdness while taking a late night dip in the nude. They argued the sign at the trailhead read: "nudity is not prohibited on forest service trails." The sign has since been removed.

"There is a county ordinance as well as a state statute that prohibits people from publicly exposing themselves," says Yvette Rice from the Utah County Sheriff's office.
