Proposed Liquor Bill to Replace Curtain with Wall, Harsher on Public Drunks
SALT LAKE CITY - A proposed senate bill would do away with Zion Curtain partitions in restaurants and instead impose a 10-foot wall in their place. If passed, alcoholic drink pouring in all-ages establishments would have to be done hidden, behind a wall. Sen. John Valentine, R-Orem, proposed the bill that would not only change where liquor is poured but would make arrests for public intoxication more easy by defining what public intoxication is.
