SALT LAKE CITY - Dozens of people braved the coldest tempeatures of the year overnight for a chance to meet Sarah Palin, who signed copies of her new book Wednesday at a Salt Lake City Costco. Nearly 500 people lined up at the Costco at 300 West and 1800 South to meet the former Governor and vice presidential candidate. Palin signed copies of her book "Going Rogue" at around noon on Wednesday.

"Sarah Palin to me, represents like, what I believe in and I think all of us have to support who we believe in these days," said camper, Shirley McClay.

Several campers braved the coldest temperatures of the year overnight bundled in blankets and sipping hot cocoa for a chance to meet Palin.

Costco managers said there will be 1,000 tickets handed out for those who want to meet the politician.

"I think she's awesome," said Dale Jakins, another Palin fan. "She's pro-life, pro-American, and just has great values that I can support."

Costco said tickets are still available for the book signing.
