Poll Shows Some Utahns Undecided on Opinion of Gov. Herbert
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- - A new poll shows that many Utahns haven't decided yet what they think of the job Gov. Gary Herbert has done since taking over for Jon Huntsman in August. A Salt Lake Tribune poll of 625 registered Utah voters shows 23 percent are undecided on Herbert's job as governor. The poll shows half rate him as good or excellent. Another 26 percent say he's done a fair job and 1 percent rate his performance as poor.

A Herbert spokeswoman says the numbers are encouraging and the number of undecideds is not unexpected given his short time leading the state.
