SALT LAKE CITY -
Girls from several Utah high schools attended a Saturday program called Expanding Your Horizons, hosted by the aerospace engineering company, ATK. The program gives teens girls exposure to careers in sciences, a field that has been predominantly dominated by males, especially engineering. "These career paths in general are dominated by men at this time, and that's why we want to expose these young ladies to these careers and show them that they are a good career path for women as well, and they can be fun," says ATK Chief Engineer, Renee Amicucci.
