PROVO, Utah - A group of middle schoolers that attend Walden School in Provo are giving $5,000 to charitable organizations as a part of a new project called Project Give. The project teaches middle school students how to better serve their community. The school gives the students $5,000 and lets the students even decide how to divide up that money as well as research the various causes and problems within their area. Then after they have done their research, the students disperse the funds to the organizations they think need it most.

"We need to train our kids at a young age that serving and using our intelligence to benefit others in the community is the most important thing," said Diane Collister of Project Give.
