Undercover Prostitution Sting Makes Over 60 Arrests in 3 Days
SALT LAKE CITY - Salt Lake City Vice received big results from a prostitution sting on State St. and North Temple, making over 62 arrests in just three days. Officers said the effects of this sting will be felt well beyond downtown Salt Lake, and could possibly be felt worldwide. Salt Lake City Vice said it is not just the actual arrests that limit prostitution, but it's also the word of the arrests that travels everywhere through Internet sites. The three day operation brought down alleged street walkers and Web surfers and police are not giving up yet on arresting more people in the prostitution sting.

"More important is the fact that we worked with 18 other agencies to train them how to deal with these issues," said Captain Mike Brown of the Salt Lake City Police.
