The Real Salt Lake soccer team arrived home on Monday afternoon after their victory over the L.A. Galaxy in the MLS Championship in Seattle, marking a historic win for Utah sports. FOX 13 carried the homecoming live and interviewed RSL Defender Robbie Russell, who scored in the seventh round of penalty kicks at the last leg of the game on Sunday, stunning the Galaxy 5-4 as Real Salt Lake won its first MLS Championship title.
About 500 Real Salt Lake fans gathered at Terminal One at the Salt Lake City International Airport to celebrate and greet players on the team.
