WEBER COUNTY, Utah - A racial slur was allegedly used against a Bonneville High School football player by an opposing coach Friday night and administrators at two schools are now investigating. The incident allegedly took place during a Friday night football game between cross-town rivals Ogden High School and Bonneville High School. Both school districts have confirmed to FOX 13 News that they are investigating the incident.

The slur was allegedly used by Ogden's Defensive Coordinator Ian Eyre. The incident allegedly took place towards the end of the game after a Bonneville player, who is black, sacked an Ogden player. According to the Salt Lake Tribune, that's when a sideline official, who is a Bonneville Basketball Coach, allegedly heard Eyre use a racial slur.
