SALT LAKE CITY -
Almost 1,800 Democratic delegates in Salt Lake County gathered at West High School for the Democratic Convention Saturday afternoon. Salt Lake County Democrats have chosen City Prosecuter Sim Gill to run against District Attorney Lohra Miller in November. Gill narrowly lost to Miller four years ago but he says things are different this time around. "You can't pick up a headline without seeing the scandal, the concern, there is something broken at the District Attorney's office and it needs to be changed," Gill said.
Gill said he knows he will have a tough road ahead int he race against Miller but he is energized and ready for the campaign trail.
