DRAPER, Utah -
A Draper family woke up to smoke and flames inside their house Wednesday morning. Everyone inside escaped without harm after being alerted by their home fire alarms. Firefighters say it started at about 4:30 a.m. on 1102 East Lone Peak Lane. Investigators think the fire started in the garage under the hood of one of the cars. Damages were estimated to be about $600,000.
