Suspect Leads Police On High Speed Chase Through Utah County
UTAH COUNTY, Utah - A suspect leads police on high speed chase through Utah County. The half hour chase started around 1:30 Thursday morning on I-15 in American Fork when police tried to pull over a Jeep Cherokee for lane violations. The chase reached speeds of around 80 miles per hour and continued through roads in Provo and Orem until the vehicle's tires were finally spiked and police arrested the suspect at 840 East and 1040 North in Orem. The suspect is a 24-year old man who now faces charges of evading and travel violations.

Police say drugs and alcohol may be involved.
