OGDEN, Utah -
A police helicopter helps stop a wild high-speed chase through three counties. The chase started in Sugarhouse last night when Metro Gang Officers got a tip about two drug dealers. Cops tried to stop the suspect, driver Julian Minguro, but he drove as such speeds police deemed it unsafe to pursue. Minguro got on I-15 reaching speeds of 110 mph, driving with his lights off and dumping drugs and firearms as he sped along the road. A police helicopter kept an eye on their car until it reached Ogden. That's where they turned into a field and two tires came off their car.
Police say the Mingura is an ex-con who was found with a half-pound of methamphetamine.
