SALT LAKE CITY - The snow Saturday morning was a welcome sign of winter for some people and an inconvenience for those driving in the storm. There have been a few accidents with cars skidding off the road and a fatal accident near Spanish Fork Canyon.

Utah Highway Patrol, Sgt. Todd Royce said, "At the time of the crash, the roads were snow packed. This is the first major snow storm of the year and we'd just like to remind people to slow down and increase their following distance. It doesn't matter the road, expect the unexpected, especially in winter conditions."
