WEST BOUNTIFUL, Utah -
Cyclists and pedestrians in southern Davis County have some new turf to enjoy. The Prospector Rail Trail is a fully-paved trail running between West Bountiful and Farmington. The trail was built long a stretch of the UTA-owned former former Denver and Rio Grande Western railway. Lauren Garlick, a student at West Bountiful Elementary School, was declared the winner of a contest to name the trail.
