Health Care Plans vs. Prison Health Care: Tell Us What You Think

FOX 13 reported on FOX 13 News at Nine that Utah prisons are now getting better health care than those who are not in prison and have health care plans. Do you think this is fair? What are your thoughts on this issue?

    • Why do people who brake the law get the best health care. When we have our service men and women and senior citizens that has to pay so much for health care and they can't even afford to buy food for themselves. Why do criminals have it better than the rest of america? IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!

DRAPER, Utah - The Utah State Correctional Facilities in Draper just received an A+ rating for the health care of its prisoners. This development has raised many questions on whether inmates are getting better coverage than others who are not in jail and are obeying the law. The Utah prison recently received a perfect score for the health care of its inmates, something very few states in the nation accomplish.

According to the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, Utah inmates get the very best of care. The Draper Prison received a 100 percent score.
