SALT LAKE CITY - Dozens of volunteers from all over the country are in Salt Lake City this week to repair the homes of 24 low income, elderly and disabled home owners. The World Changers organization has partnered with Salt Lake City and South Salt Lake to replace roofs, siding, porches, wheelchair ramps, paint and landscape homes at no cost to the homeowners in need. The volunteers paid for their own transportation to Utah and are sleeping on cots at Granite Park Junior High for the week. The cities paid for the materials needed on the 24 projects.

FOX 13's Big Budah spoke with Sara Richardson, Promotions and Grant Specialist for Salt Lake City, at one of the job sites.
