SALT LAKE COUNTY—
The mercury is rising and so is the need for water and other items the homeless rely on to get by during these hot summer days. The Volunteers of America, Homeless Outreach Program is seeking those who are out on the street and who may be in danger this season under the mid-summer heat. "We work extra hard on those hot days to make sure everyone's hydrated and has the food they need and are getting adequate shade," said volunteer, Jessica Fleming.FOX 13's Andrea Fujii has more.
