PROVO, Utah—
A man accused of choking his roommate to death has been charged with murder.
34-year-old James Norman is accused of strangling his roommate Omar Sharif at the Utah State Hospital.
Charges claim Normantold a nurse he could not sleep because Sharif was snoring too loudly. 30 minutes later, hospital staff found Sharif dead on the floor.
A judge has found Norman incompetent to stand trial. He remains in the Utah State Hospital.
