Pioneer Day is a holiday unique to Utah, celebrating the trek of Mormon pioneers to the state back in the 19th Century. The holiday this year is on Saturday, July 24, but there are celebrations going on all week. Find out which events are happening in your area listed in alphabetical order!

Bountiful - Handcart Days, July 23--Grand Parade, 6 p.m. Main Street from 1500 North, then west to 100 West, July 23--Games and activities, noon-10 p.m., Bountiful City Fireworks Show at dusk at Mueller Park Jr. High, July 24--games and activities 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Centerfield - July 23--Centerfield Pioneer Days, 6 p.m. parade from Main Street to the park, 7 p.m. dinner at the park with games, water slide and musical program; July 24--Breakfast at the Park, City Park
Cottonwood Heights - Butlerville Days in Cottonwood Heights will include fireworks at dusk Saturday in Butler Park, 7500 S. 2700 East.
Heber City - Heber City's Historic Heber Valley Railroad will present "Fiddlers 'n Fireworks" from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, with a train ride and fireworks over Deer Creek Reservoir. Tickets cost $24-$33.
Holladay - July 20--Pioneer Fashion Show, 7 p.m., Holladay Library
Kanab - July 24--Kanab Pioneer Day Celebration, parade at 10 a.m., line up is at 9 a.m. for those having an entry in the parade, after parade free games and booths at the State Bank and Gazebo, dutch oven dinners, ice cream, and drinks will also be served for a minimal charge, Entertainment provided.
Logan - July 24--Pioneer Day Celebration, 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Logan City's Pioneer Day Festival will feature a fireworks show at dusk Saturday at Willow Park, 400 W. 700 South.
Mapleton - July 24--Mapleton Pioneer Days, Mapleton City Park, 35 E. Maple Street, breakfast, parade, 5K fun run
Mayfield - July 24--Mayfield Pioneer Celebration, 10 a.m. parade, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. games food and entertainment by "In Cahoots." 2 p.m. duck race, winner receives a Side-by-Side Four Wheeler, City Park
North Logan - North Logan will display fireworks at dusk Saturday at Elk Ridge Park, 1100 E. 2500 North.
Ogden - Ogden Pioneer Days, activities all week, July 20-24, fireworks Thursday and Saturday after the rodeo, rodeo at 7:30 p.m. both days

Sandy - In Sandy, fireworks are planned following the Real Salt Lake soccer game Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium,9256 S. State. Tickets are required to enter the stadium.
Spanish Fork - July 21-24--Fiesta Days and Fiesta Days Rodeo, festival at 40 South Main Street, rodeo at 475 S Main. Spanish Fork will host a "Fireworks Spectacular" at dusk Saturday at the Sports Park, 295 W. Volunteer Drive, as part of its Fiesta Days events. A pre-show with music begins at 5 p.m.
