The National Weather Service is calling for strong winds throughout most of Utah on Monday.
A cold front will bring strong northwest winds to Utah and southwest Wyoming, causing reduced visibility as blowing dust and snow is possible.
It is a fast-moving storm; it will hit around noon and clear by dinner time, according to John Goulet, with the FOX 13’s weather team.
Northern Utah and mountain areas can expect wind gusts of 55-65 mph. Mountain peaks may experience gusts up to 85 mph, according to NWS. Southern Utah may experience wind gusts of 40-55 mph.
Temperature will drop significantly behind the front.
