PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – A Florida mom is facing a child neglect charge after she allowed her son to walk to a park alone.
Nicole Gainey says she thinks her 7-year-old son is old enough to walk to the park. According to WPTV, the park is a mile and a half from their house.
But, police disagreed. Gainey was arrested and charged with child neglect.
