FRUIT HEIGHTS, Utah — A Silver Alert for an 85-year-old man missing out of Fruit Heights was canceled Sunday after he was found in Nevada.
The alert was issued Friday for Robert Wilmot Mann, who was last seen that afternoon driving away from his home. Authorities believed he may have been driving to California.
On Sunday, the Davis County Sheriff's Office announced that Mann had called a loved one Saturday evening from his cellphone and "appeared to be disoriented."
Geolocation data from the phone showed that he was in Eureka, Nevada, and deputies with the White Pine County Sheriff's Office then found him and gave him shelter until Sunday when he was reunited with loved ones.
