SALT LAKE CITY – The man accused of damaging a Delta plan after it landed in Salt Lake City remains in jail after a Friday hearing.
Police say Anatoliy Baranovich was trying to use an emergency exit door while the plane was still moving.
According to testimony in Friday’s 90-minute hearing, Baranovich tried to bribe officers to let him go. He had 19 Ukranian passports with him; three for men and the rest for women in their 20s to early 30s.
He’s being held as a flight risk.
