A man is facing arson and attempted murder charges after investigators say he intentionally set a house on fire Wednesday morning.
Daniel Ivins, 34, was arrested at the scene of the fire at 377 North, 800 West.
Ivins was taken into custody after a woman who lived in the home told police she was assaulted by him.
Fire investigators believe the fire started in the front room of the ground level apartment. There were no injuries related to the fire.
