PARK CITY, Utah – Outside Magazine has named Park City “The Best Town Ever.”
Park City Mayor Dana Williams told FOX 13 News about the decision Friday and said it will be announced in the September issue of the magazine.
Ten towns were selected, and then a series of online votes and staff visits helped the magazine narrow their selection. Park City beat out the rest to take the top spot.
Williams said Park City has added 400 miles of trails in the past decade or so and has grown as a summer tourist spot.
“So now people are coming from all over the world to ride bikes on the land we didn’t build on, its kind of, how to grow your economy by not building,” Williams said.
