407 new cases of COVID-19 in Utah and 4 more deaths reported

The Utah Dept. of Health reported 407 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. There have now been a total of 15,344 cases in the state.

Four more deaths from COVID-19 have occurred since Tuesday's report. That brings the total number of deaths in Utah to 149.

The health department said 29 new hospitalizations were required over the past 24 hours. There are currently 147 COVID-19-positive patients being treated in Utah hospitals. Since the outbreak began, 1,102 people have been hospitalized.

There have now been 278,692 people tested for COVID-19 in Utah. That's an increase of 2,992 since Tuesday. The positive percentage rate of all tested is 13.6-percent.
