COVID-19 case rates drop in most Utah counties and in the state as a whole

This week’s FOX 13 county COVID-19 report is simple and it’s encouraging.

Take a look at the map below and see how your county’s rate of active cases changed from the height of the holiday surge (January 11 for our tracking purposes) and our latest county-by-county inventory.

Overall, the state saw a 28 percent decrease in active case rates, as measured by the number of cases per 100,000 residents.

Please remember: this means doing the right thing works. With more contagious variants of the virus arriving in the U.S., we can’t succumb to “COVID fatigue!”
