Department of Health reports 264 new COVID-19 cases and one new fatality as of Sunday

The latest COVID-19 numbers have been released by the Utah Department of Health.

There are now 9,797 lab-confirmed cases across the state. That's an increase of 264 new cases since Saturday.

Approximately 213,914 people have been tested, including the 3,809 new tests reported.

775 people have been hospitalized in relation to COVID-19 since March. 12 new people were reported in today's numbers.

One new death brings the total number of fatalities to 113.

That individual is a male resident of Wasatch County under the age of 65.

The Utah Department of Health is not expected to hold a press conference to discuss these new numbers.
