Health Dept.: 517 new COVID-19 cases in Utah, six new deaths

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health's COVID-19 update for Monday shows 517 new confirmed cases and six new deaths.

Utah now has 25,469 confirmed cases. 375,842 people in Utah have been reported tested for the disease.

A total of 190 people in Utah have died of COVID-19, an increase of six since Sunday's update.

1,605 people in Utah have required hospitalization due to COVID-19.

An estimated 14,448 people in Utah have recovered from COVID-19. UDOH estimates the state's recoveries by counting the people who survived 21 days after testing positive for the disease.
