SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health's COVID-19 update for Thursday shows 554 new confirmed cases and three new deaths.
Utah now has 23,270 confirmed cases. 346,386 people in Utah have been reported tested for the disease.
A total of 176 people in Utah have died of COVID-19, an increase of three since Wednesday's update.
1,505 people in Utah have required hospitalization due to COVID-19.
An estimated 13,076 people in Utah have recovered from the disease. UDOH estimates the recoveries by counting the people who survived three weeks after testing positive for COVID-19.
