SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health reported 562 new cases Tuesday, but no additional deaths which remain at 436 in the state.
However, the rolling seven-day average for positive tests jumped to 522 per day.
So far, 725,612 people in Utah have been tested for COVID-19, which is an increase of almost 4,000 people.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,361 people in Utah have required hospitalization for COVID-19. Of those, 128 remain hospitalized.
49,327 of Utah's COVID-19 cases are considered "recovered." A case with a diagnosis date of more than three weeks ago, who has not passed away, is considered recovered.
