SALT LAKE CITY — There was a fatal crash on I-15 early Monday morning.
According to Utah Highway Patrol Corporal Colton Freckleton, the crash happened at 3:06 a.m. in the area of 1200 north.
A vehicle was travelling southbound on I-15 when it swerved out of a lane, hit a barrier, then rolled two times.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected from the vehicle which then landed on the driver.
The driver was transported to hospital where he died.
He has been identified as a 20-year-old from Blackfoot Idaho.
It took investigators about four hours to clear the crash scene.
