LDS film, HEART OF AFRICA, opens in theatres Friday, March 13th

From the company that brought you meet the Mormons, HEART OF AFRICA, opens in theatres throughout Utah on Friday and is the first Congolese film.

Filmed entirely in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the film follows a young Congolese revolutionary trying to escape the terrible mistakes of his past. His journey leads him to completely new experiences and even a new religion - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

HEART OF AFRICA is a tale of self-discovery, brotherhood, and redemption and intended for all audiences.

The film features English subtitles as the dialogue is primarily in Lingala, one of the main languages of the Congo, along with some dialogue in English and French.
