During this crisis, Salt Lake Community College has converted more than 2,600 classes to the online format which equates to 90% of their learning.
This year for commencement, graduates will participate in a remote and virtual celebration.
SLCC is mailing out a 2020 Commencement Celebration Package that will contain their diploma, a traditional cap and tassel, and assorted items they can use to celebrate. Graduates will also be invited to participate in a virtual ceremony later this summer and walk with next year`s class in 2021.
Aside from having one of the lowest tuition rates in the state, to help those who have been impacted financially from Covid-19, SLCC will be waiving the online course fee and delaying the 2020 tuition increase until 2021.
