One of the best ways to experience a culture is through food and for two nights only you can not only experience Pompeii: The Exhibition at The Leonardo but you can take a journey back in time and experience the food they ate almost 2000 years ago.
Pompeii vanished beneath thick layers of volcanic ash by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Even though Pompeii was in ancient Rome, the foods they ate were very specific to their region and were very different from the rest of the country.
Pompeii POP will be a four-course meal plus tasting stations where guests can sample flavors like fish sauce and even ash, representing Vesuvius itself.
