The latest numbers from the Utah Department of Health show that between Saturday and Sunday, there were 175 more lab-confirmed cases, bringing the statewide total to 4,123.

95,702 people have been tested. Comparing the number of tests completed to the number of confirmed cases, only 4.3% of people that are being tested are coming back positive.

345 people have been hospitalized in connection to COVID-19. That’s an increase of 16 from Saturday’s total of 329.

The estimated number of recovered patients is now at 1,568. When compared to the cumulative number of confirmed cases, 38% of those who have tested positive for the virus statewide have recovered.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the statewide total at 41.

The Utah Department of Health will not be giving a briefing today to discuss the new figures.
