CNN — Happy Birthday, Doctor Seuss!
The popular children’s author, born Theodor Seuss Geisel, would have been 108-years-old if alive today.
As part of the celebration, a movie about his tale “The Lorax” opens in theaters today.
Stars of the animated film will read the book as part of national Read Across America Day
Geisel also brought us classics such as “The Cat in the Hat” and “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.”
He died in 1991 at age 87.
