Dr. Susan Pohl, from the University of Utah Healthcare's Madsen Health Center, encourages new mother's to take care of themselves.
- Talk with someone you trust about how you are feeling.
- Maintain a well-balanced diet.
- Be honest with your care provider at all your follow-up appointments.
- If possible, get outside and enjoy some fresh air, even if just for a few minutes.
- Ask for help from your spouse and/or friends. Let them help you with meals or other children.
