Brain Rowser was named a recipient of the 2012 Good Samaritan Heroes Award.
The award is given by the Red Cross and recognizes Rowser and three other men who came to the aid of a helicopter pilot and his passengers when the helicopter crashed in a remote field.
Speaking with Good Day Utah, Rowser recounts how he helped save a teenage boy, his mother and the pilot of the helicopter.
