- 2 teaspoons Gossner Sweet Cream Butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup vegetable or chicken stock
- 1 cup Gossner Milk
- 2 ½ cups fresh or frozen corn
- 4 medium potatoes
- 1 cup Gossner Whipping Cream, heated
- 4 pieces bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
In a soup pot, melt the butter over medium heat, sauté the onion and pepper with salt and pepper. Add stock, milk, corn and potatoes. Bring up to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Stir in cream. Add bacon, if using.
