Millcreek has a new library, recreation and aging center all under one roof.
The 64,000 square foot facility will open April 11 and is located at 2266 East Evergreen Avenue (3435 South).
The new Millcreek Community Centerwill have a cafe for the public, but seniors will get a daily special and the hours will accommodate those who are still working by staying open until 7 p.m.
"The senior rooms have 52-inch screen TVs and DVD players and a full satellite package," said Bev Uipi, senior center manager. She said they plan to use the center's arts room to watch games through the satellite package.
