Joe McQueen has been a professional jazz musician for over seventy years, as he became a professional at the age of sixteen. He is now a resident of Ogden, Utah.
In 2002, the Governor established April 18 as the official "Joe McQueen Day" in the State of Utah.
A dinner to honor McQueen will be held on Saturday, April 14 at The Wine Cellar in Ogden.
