One of the most contested elections in Utah this year is for the new fourth congressional district.
Congressional candidate Carl Wimmer spoke with Good Day Utah on Tuesday.
"There is no doubt in my mind. If I'm lucky enough and fortunate enough to be the nominee after this Saturday, there is no doubt in my mind that we will be retiring Jim Matheson this November," said Wimmer.
The Utah Republican Party Nominating Convention is being held on April 21st, 2012 at the South Towne Exposition Center in Sandy, Utah.
